Ideal candidates for brow waxing and shaping are men and women who have thin or thick eyebrows that need minor cleanup to remove a few hairs or greater definition and trimming. This treatment is ideal for those who have tried tweezing their own eyebrows and have been disappointed with the results or made a mistake that requires the help of a professional aesthetician. You may not be a good candidate if you are using certain acne medications, like Retin-A, Tetracycline, or Accutane.
Procedure Technique
Our licensed aestheticians will perform a thorough assessment of your eyebrows before any hairs are removed to best understand your desired outcome. Typically, our male patients desire a masculine shape that is cleaner and well-groomed so the bottom of their eyebrows is commonly the focus. Women usually desire a thinner, arch shape to their brows.
Once the desired shape of your brows is determined, one of our aestheticians will use a brow brush to comb the brow hairs upward to see where the excess or elongated hairs need to be trimmed. Your brows will then be lightly cleaned, and the wax will be applied in small amounts at a time to the designated areas. The wax will then be quickly removed to yield your desired shape.

To maintain your desired brow shape, we recommend follow-up visits about every 4 – 6 weeks, depending on how quickly your brow hairs grow.
