Dr. Thornwell Parker III is a renowned Dallas plastic and cosmetic surgeon. His board certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, as well as his dual training in Mohs surgery and procedural dermatology, combine to equate strengths in fields that are uncommon among his peers. Dr. Parker currently specializes in plastic, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgeries of the face and body, as well as hand rejuvenation and skin cancer diagnosis, treatment, and removal. Mission & Philosophy

Dr. Parker is a multi-faceted plastic surgeon whose surgical skills range from simple to complex and spread over a number of areas. His true specialty and mission is to help patients achieve their aesthetic goals while maximizing their potential to achieve or maintain optimum health. He believes in offering a complete and comprehensive line of services in each field he practices within to address patients’ needs in the best manner possible, versus the simplest manner. As the founder of several successful medical practices, Dr. Parker believes that an educated, compassionate plastic surgeon is the best type of surgeon there is.  

Surgical Expertise

Having obtained his plastic surgery training from what many surgeons consider to be the best training facility in the country, Dr. Parker has never settled for less than the best. He began his fellowship training in Mohs surgery and procedural dermatology under Dr. Willis Cottel, the President of the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS), at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas in 2006, and completed it in 2007. The completion of a fellowship from ACMS is among the highest levels of training that can be obtained for skin cancer treatment and qualifies Dr. Parker as a master of many skin care treatments and facial reconstruction specialties. In addition, the completion of the fellowship program also depends upon a plastic surgeon’s ability to perform a number of specific medical tasks with ease and confidence. Dr. Parker mastered each task.
